ECU TUNING SERVICES
We offer both street and remote tunes on all Evo 8's and 9's, and X's. Just like the name says, our goal is to OPTIMIZE your setup regardless of how mild or wild it may be. Even completely stock Evos will benefit greatly from a custom tune. We tune not just for maximum power output, but also for reliability and drivability. We can tune your Evo using either the stock MAF or speed density, and using either a manual boost controller or ECU controlled boost. Visit our store to see our available options and pricing, or contact us today if you have any questions or would like more information. Also, don't forget to check out our Tuning Results page. The dyno graphs and numbers speak for themselves!
MONEY BACK GAURANTEE
We give a 30 day refinement period with each tune. If you notice any issues with your tune (AFRs out of line, repetitive and/or excessive knock, etc.), we will make adjustments to your tune free of charge, as long no changes were made to the car that would affect the tune.
We also offer a 30 day money-back guarantee on all street tunes (remote tunes are non-refundable).Customer satisfaction is our #1 priority. Please let us know if you are unhappy with our services in any way and we'll do our best to make it right. If we are unable to make things right, we will return your car to it's previous tune and give you your money back!

Useful Links
- Laptop with two working USB ports
- Wideband O2 Sensor with logging cable (AEM, Innovate, or Zietronix)
- AEM Logging Cable can be purchased from Spoolin' Up Click Here
- You will also need a Serial/RS232 to USB adapter. These can be purchased at Best Buy, Radio Shack, Amazon, etc.
- Upgraded MAP Sensor (We recommend the OMNI 4 Bar)
- Manual Boost Controller or 3 Port Boost Solenoid (Grmmspeed EBCS recommended) or modify the stock boost pill (Click here for DIY for Evo8/9) (Click here for DIY for Evo X)
- Tactrix Openport 1.3U(Evo 8/9) or 2.0(Evo 8/9/X) Tuning Cable. (Purchase Here or Here) Note: Evo 8/9 require a reflash adapter. This adapter is built into the 1.3 cable but is a separate accesorie for the 2.0.
- Speed Density can be tuned using an IAT sensor or the stock fuel temp sensor

RECOMMENDED MAINTAINANCE BEFORE TUNING
- Check all fluids: Oil, Coolant, Transmission, Transfer Case, Rear Diff - Ensure that all are clean and full.
- Fuel - If running E85, it's always a good idea to test the mixture from the station you plan on getting most of your fuel from.
- Boost Leak Test - I cannot stress enough how important this is to the drivability and performance of your car. Do yourself a favor and please do this before your tune. Boost leaks can cause major drivability issues and will make it impossible to tune your setup to its full potential.
- Throttle Body Shaft Seals - Speaking of boost leaks, if you own an 8 or 9 there's a 80-90% chance that these are leaking. If you hear hissing from around the throttle body during your boost leak test then your shaft seals are leaking and need to be replaced. Upgrading your TB seals is the best dollar-for-dollar mod you can do for your Evo. The seals are only about $25 and they're not terribly difficult to replace. Replacing the TB seals will net at least 10-20whp and it will allow you to hold 1-2 more pounds of boost in the higher RPM range. In short, it'll be the best $25 you spend on your 8 or 9!
- Spark Plugs - Depending on the type of plug (copper or iridium) you run, it's a good idea to change these every 3K-6K miles. Also make sure they are gapped properly. I recommend .022-.024 for 8s and .020-.022 for 9s, but they may have to be gapped lower depending on your setup and boost levels.
